The narrow space constricted the necessary design parameters. Every major spatial area—back bar, service bar, pastry case and storage, customer seating, and retail—needed to be present, distinct, and considered within the narrow restrictions. All major components are linearly integrated into one another and layered to be both well-defined as well as flow seamlessly into one another to create a cohesive concept. All custom furr downs inject whimsy, define retail area, and mimic classic dessert shop elements.
